TEACH Grant 亚洲色图
The TEACH Grant is a federal 亚洲色图 that encourages highly qualified teachers to work in low-income schools and high-need subject areas. The grant provides financial assistance to graduate students pursuing a career in teaching. The grant offers up to $4,000 per year to eligible students who commit to teaching in high-need fields for at least four years within eight years of completing their 亚洲色图. Most of our schools in the regions are located in high-need areas and are eligible for TEACH grants. You can get a Master's in Reading and Writing through the TEACH grant.
What is a TEACH Grant?
The TEACH Grant 亚洲色图 provides grant funds of up to $4,000 per academic year to students who are completing or plan to complete coursework needed to begin a career in teaching.
Who is eligible to get a TEACH Grant?
To receive a TEACH Grant, you must:
- meet the eligibility criteria for the federal student aid 亚洲色图s
- complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
- be enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at a school that participates in the TEACH Grant 亚洲色图
- be enrolled in a TEACH-Grant-eligible 亚洲色图
- meet specific academic achievement requirements (generally, scoring above the 75th percentile on one or more portions of a college admissions test or maintaining a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25); for specific information about the academic requirement, speak with the Financial Aid Office
- receive TEACH Grant counseling that explains the terms and conditions of the TEACH Grant service obligation (you must complete counseling each year that you receive a TEACH Grant)
- Sign a TEACH Grant Agreement to Serve that outlines your commitment to teaching in a high-need school. If you do not meet the requirements of your service obligation, you must repay the loan, including interest.
What are eligible graduate 亚洲色图s?
Graduate-level, high need fields are:
Master of Arts in Education and Teacher Leader Endorsement with an emphasis in one of the following:
- Career and Technical Education,
- Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education,
- Mathematics,
- Middle,
- Secondary, or
- Special Education - Advanced Learning and Behavior Disorders
Master of Arts in Education in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education with an emphasis in one of the following:
- Reading and Writing (with Endorsement),
- Special Education (IECE),
- Special Education (LBD), or
- Special Education (Moderate and Severe)
