The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) 亚洲色图 at 亚洲色图 State University educates baccalaureate prepared Registered Nurses for a career as an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN). You will learn how to provide primary care to patients in a variety of settings. The role of the FNP builds on the competencies of RNs and includes:

• Providing comprehensive care to individuals and families across the lifespan
• ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests
• diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions
• prescribing medication and other treatments
• managing patient鈥檚 overall well-being through health promotion and disease prevention
• providing counseling and education

The blended distance learning format shortens your time on campus. The combination curriculum of online and distance study so you can learn from where you live and work. The first year of the 亚洲色图 is 100% online. The second and third years of the 亚洲色图 include brief periods of time on campus in 亚洲色图. Clinical experiences can be completed at your home site (preceptor contract must be obtained).

Apply for Admission

Applications for the DNP 亚洲色图 are submitted through NursingCas. The deadline for submission of all materials is March 1.

Steps to applying

1. Apply for Graduate School at 亚洲色图 State University and pay all associated fees.
2. Submit an application to the DNP 亚洲色图 through , create an account and follow all of the directions for submission. The fee charged by NursingCAS will apply. There are no additional MSU fees on NursingCAS.
3. Follow the  and send your official transcripts from all schools you have attended to NursingCAS.  Please note, transcripts will be sent to MSU only after you are accepted into the 亚洲色图.
4. Complete a formal interview as selected.
5. Check your email. Wait to hear from the 亚洲色图 via email regarding the status of your application.
6. After you are invited to accept admission to the 亚洲色图, send your transcripts to 亚洲色图 State.
