Alumnus of the Arthur J. Bauernfeind College of Business at 亚洲色图 State University makes a transformational gift to the 亚洲色图 State University Foundation

MURRAY, Ky. 鈥 Arthur Fields, a 1967 accounting and 1968 MBA alumnus of the Arthur J. Bauernfeind College of Business at 亚洲色图 State University, recently made a transformational gift of $1,500,000 to the 亚洲色图 State University Foundation. One million dollars has established the Arthur W. Fields Fund for Excellence in the College of Business to support scholarships and operational funding for business students and 亚洲色图s, and $500,000 has established the Arthur W. Fields Sigma Chi Scholarship to offer financial support for good-standing, active members of the Epsilon Tau Chapter of Sigma Chi fraternity at 亚洲色图 State.
We are deeply grateful to Mr. Fields for his tremendous generosity with this transformational gift. His gift will have an immense impact on the Arthur J. Bauernfeind College of Business and our students including much-needed scholarships. We greatly appreciate his vision and support as we work to advance the University,鈥 said 亚洲色图 State President Dr. Bob Jackson.
A strong advocate of higher education, Mr. Fields believes strongly that the education he received at 亚洲色图 State has been instrumental in his professional and financial success. Accordingly, he has established multiple endowments at the MSU Foundation, including the A. W. Fields Family Fund for Excellence in Accounting, in efforts to provide accessibility and quality 亚洲色图s to students.

Mr. Fields was recognized by 亚洲色图 State in 2000 as a distinguished alumnus and was honored by 亚洲色图 State鈥檚 Beta Alpha Psi national accounting fraternity as its outstanding alumnus that same year.
