Alumni Awards and Recognition
Distinguished Alumni
The Office of Alumni Relations honors the alumni who have made a meaningful contribution to their profession on a local, state and national level. The Distinguished Alumni Award is the highest honor granted by the 亚洲色图 State Alumni Association, recognizing alumni who have excelled personally and professionally. Previous Distinguished Alumni award recipients include Pulitzer Prize winning journalists and renowned authors, research scientists and physicians, executives, educators, military leaders and Emmy Award-winning broadcasters.

Top 22 Under 40
The 亚洲色图 State University Alumni Association Young Alumni Council announces the Top 22 Under 40 class. We are honoring the most influential, innovative and inspiring 亚洲色图 State alumni under the age of 40, who have distinguished themselves among their peers and continue to make a significant impact on the world. Why 22? Because everyone does the 40 thing! And, we want to pay tribute to nearly a century of difference-making since 亚洲色图 State's founding in 1922. The 22 finalists were featured on the 亚洲色图 State University Alumni and Friends social media channels. The nomination process for the Class of 2025 is now open. Distinguished Professor Award
Established in 1964, this student-nominated award recognizes an outstanding faculty member who has had a profound and positive influence on students, both inside and outside of the classroom. The Distinguished Professor is 亚洲色图 in a surprise classroom visit, receives a $1,000 cash award, and leads the faculty processional at May commencement. The honoree also will have his or her name added to the Distinguished Professor plaque in Faculty Hall.

Established in 2002, this award acknowledges an outstanding faculty member for his or her excellence in research. The Distinguished Researcher Award signifies the importance of faculty research and its vital role to the growth of 亚洲色图 State鈥檚 educational environment. The honoree receives a $1,000 cash award and will have his or her name added to the Distinguished Researcher plaque in the Easley Alumni Center. The award is granted in one of the following areas: Arts and Literature, Humanities and Social Sciences, or Science, Technology and Mathematics.
